Dismantling systems of oppression begin when we re-imagine the contexts and structures of power that we have inherited and build new systems rooted in culture, joy, and deeply collectivist systems that promote liberation, love, and community. She creates shared spaces that uplift intergenerational voices and experiences. By partner with cultural archivists, poets, indigenous healers, and elders to tell our stories and build our literary lineages for our children and youth. Janet helps organizations work directly with youth and families to elevate and amplify anti-biased practices in service of bridging and belonging.
