Literacy is a portal to our cultural inheritance, our ancestral memories, our literary lineages, and ultimately it is a vehicle for liberation and self-determination. 

Engaging and partnering with community partners such as Black Lives Matter 5280, Black Child Development Institute Denver Affiliate (BCDI-Denver), Project Proud Fatherhood, Black Dads Read, local book clubs and social justice organizations allows us to de-center institutional voices and center the global majority through our programming and literacy design.
